DONate

Because Haven Dog Rescue is a volunteer-run organization, our capacity to help save dogs from area shelters depends on generous donations by our friends and supporters.

Some dogs that come into our care require serious medical intervention that the shelters cannot provide. Others require a professional dog trainer to help make them more adoptable. Our approach is to help save dogs that are generally fearful or have training issues and rehabilitate them and place them with tolerant people who are aware of their challenges.

If you choose to donate, your investment in Haven Dog Rescue benefits not just one dog’s medical needs, but many dogs that come through our rescue.

We are a registered 501(C)3 non-profit charity and ALL our donations are used for the care and wellbeing of local rescued dogs.

sponsor an elderly dog

Sponsorship is especially needed for elderly dogs that have little chance of being adopted due to heath and age.  We call this Fospice Care.  Area shelters often receive older dogs who have ben surrendered or abandoned due to their owners medical issues or their inconvenience, although they still have a lot of good companionship left in them.

Sometimes we assist seniors in the community who are looking for someone to provide care for their pet after they pass away. We help find loving homes and provide any medical treatments urgently needed.

Sponsoring a senior dog and funding their medical treatment can be ongoing which can be very expensive, so we always welcome fospice donations.
